To ensure Renzenberger's high standards of safety are met, each driver is carefully screened and tested, by performing:  Pre-employment and Random Testing for controlled substances  Pre-employment and Annual MVR  Pre-Employment Driving Test  Previous Employer History Checks  Criminal Background and e-RAILSAFE Checks  Complete a DOT physical (where required) Once qualified, drivers receive on-the-job training from qualified personnel to assure they fully understand all job requirements. They also are required to complete a defensive driving course, operation lifesaver training, backing, fatigue, entering and exiting vehicle, and where appropriate, complete a winter driving course covering the special risks associated with winter driving conditions. Our vehicle fleet consists of all late model units ordered to our specifications.
